#EverydayEnzo Day 2

Four years ago, I set out on a journey to start my fourth business, a creative agency focused on storytelling through the use of video and video blogging (vlogging).

I can’t even begin to count the amount of times I heard things like,

Can you even make any money? — Mom

Do you know what you’re doing? Make sure you can pay the bills. — Dad

Why don’t you just get a normal job like everybody else? — Random family member

To say these things bothered me at first is an understatement. But I persevered. Some think it’s not a big deal and you can just shake off your “haters”. Except, when those doubters are those closest to you, it becomes toxic.

Forget the negativity, and let’s fast forward to today, January 2nd 2018.

Our second employee we hired just 6 short months ago, packed up his SUV, left Nashville and drove up to Columbus into a new apartment in a city he knows no one.

Blake told us he values our company and what we’re doing, that he believes in our team and product so much, he was willing to come to a new city, alone, to do it.

There are no words to describe how I feel right now. That someone would uproot their lives for something I built.

Blake isn’t the last.

We have two more employees ready to come to our city to help us build a company I believe so much in.

Needless to say, I feel blessed for the opportunities that have manifest themselves, but they haven’t been without hard work and perseverance.

✌️❤️😃
