Finesse

#EverydayEnzo Day 3

It’s only the third and I got my smack on the back of the head, from my wife, no less.

She’s great at reminding me when I’m a bit too abrasive or aggressive. Oftentimes I get in a zone and don’t realize what I’m saying or how I’m saying it.

It’s almost ironic, really, because my dad told me growing up

It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.

Of course we don’t always mean things the way we say them. We don’t mean to offend or hurt people around us with our words, but we do because we’re so focused on what we’re saying, we pay no mind to how we’re saying it.

Lesson for today: focus on finesse.
